BAMnet manages Wi-Fi networks through an established back-end system. Users are automatically directed between free access services and paid access services.

The Wi-Fi Network, Building for the Community

BAMnet's turn-key Wi-Fi network design provides for a seamless integration of local websites of interest where those who connect to the BAMnet-Public-WiFi SSID can freely browse local town related websites. Websites to consider as part of the free Web Community are local businesses, local street maps, local weather, and other websites that you choose to be part of the free Web Community. When somebody tries to browse websites outside of your free web community, they will be prompted for a username and password, with options to purchase access if they don't already have a paid account.

Why build a Web Community

The benefits to your local town are obvious. Public access to local school websites, local street maps, local transportation, local utilities, anything that would be considered a help to local residents or those who travel into town. Once the network goes live, it becomes easy to promote the network to local town residents and businesses. It's an effort the community can get behind by adding their own town related website links. Ultimately, you are the approval process in accepting or declining user submitted website links.

As the web community grows, and local businesses begin to appreciate your grass-roots effort to create the web community, it becomes easier to find nearby businesses with a rooftop to offer for potential new radio node mounting locations.

As the community grows, local businesses who do not have websites might be inclined to have one built. Position yourself with a local website designer and create a new revenue stream.

The benefits to you is that you become a network operator, part of the BAMnet network, sharing in profits generated.

Your technical skill and community connections will be required.
